Keith Gerson, CFE, President of Franchise Ops, FranConnect

Keith Gerson brings 40+ years of executive level expertise as a passionate and driven Franchisor and Franchisee with a proven track-record in building rapid-growth, and highly profitable franchise organizations. Over the last eight years, Keith has served as President and Chief Customer Advocate for FranConnect where he has been able to work closely with many Executive Boards and Leadership Teams that are part of FranConnect’s portfolio of 800+ brands and 148,00 locations. His focus is on helping franchisors to get to their desired future state in sales, operations, communications, and engagement. Recognized in franchising circles for his extensive leadership experience, and ability to drive execution, Keith is a highly-rated keynote speaker and has had the rare opportunity to have created several leading franchise systems from their very conception through launch and sustained growth taking these systems from micro-emerging status to that of successful enterprise level brands.

David Bloom, Chief Operating and Development Officer, Capriotti’s Subs and Wing Zone

David Bloom serves as the Chief Operating and Development Officer for Capriotti’s Subs and Wing Zone, both high growth franchise brands based in Las Vegas, Nevada. David’s background includes a long track record of strategically accelerating sustainable brand expansion and operational performance in a wide variety of industries on a global basis. David’s early career in the franchise industry began as a large multi-unit franchisee, area developer and as SVP of Brand Expansion for Quiznos, growing it from a small regional brand to opening over 5,000 locations in 28 countries. Subsequent senior roles included the rapid growth of numerous enterprises including; Clockwork Home Services with system-wide revenues in excess of $2.5 billion, Bridge International Academies based in Nairobi, Kenya, the fastest growing education company in the developing world, Famous Brands International with approximately 900 franchised locations in over 30 countries and as President of Office Evolution, a high growth franchise in
the shared workspace sector. In his current role as Chief Development and Operating Officer for Capriotti’s Sandwich Shop and Wing Zone, David is responsible for all aspects of franchise development, franchise training and support and company-owned operations.

Jack Armstrong, President and Owner, FranNet

Jack Armstrong is the President and Owner of FranNet of New Jersey, which he has owned for the past 20 years. He is also one of the principal owners of the corporate FranNet and Chairman of the Board of the parent company. FranNet has sixty offices nationwide and represents a hundred carefully selected national franchises. FranNet specializes in the sale and resale of well-known franchise companies. FranNet of NJ has won the Office of the Year or top sales awards more than a dozen times.

Each year Jack conducts more than 60 franchising seminars, many of which are in coordination with leading Outplacement firms, the Small Business Development Centers (SBDC) and SCORE. He has presented the basics of franchise ownership as part of the Outplacement programs conducted by major organizations that are downsizing. He offers a free consultation for prospective entrepreneurs.

He also owns a Sunbelt Business Brokers of New Jersey franchise that has been in business for more than 20 years. Sunbelt Business Brokers is the largest business facilitation firm in the country with over 200 offices in thirty-eight states.

Jack has an accounting degree from Bemidji State University and an MBA in finance from Pace University, where he did his thesis on Franchising. He holds a New Jersey Real Estate License.

Sean Fitzgerald, CFE, President,TruBlue Total House Care

Sean Fitzgerald is a seasoned franchise executive with more than 25 years of experience working with brands ranging in scale from startup franchise concepts to multi-national franchise systems. With a wealth of knowledge, impressive in both scope and variety, Sean brings to TruBlue the insight and expertise necessary for developing, operating, and growing successful franchise businesses. Sean’s background includes leading the growth of several brands including BrightStar Senior Care, Wireless Zone | Verizon Wireless, and FYZICAL Therapy & Balance Centers.  He was recently Chief Development Strategist for No Limit Agency, one of the largest PR & digital marketing agencies in franchising, providing marketing strategies for national brands such as Two Men and a Truck, Dairy Queen, Anytime Fitness, GreatClips, Jan-Pro, MaidRight, Orange Theory Fitness, Mosquito Joe and our sister brand Fresh Coat.
